Cordillera outdoor wall light in burnished bronze, bubbled glass

Burnished bronze finish, glass dotted with bubbles

The burnished bronze finish gives the aluminium a brown tone with coppery highlights, softer than black. The frame forms a vertical rectangle open at the sides; at its centre it holds a clear glass tube flecked with tiny bubbles, sitting on a cup and held at the top by a crosspiece. A slim backplate in the same shade secures it to the wall.

Light source and protection

You will need an E27 bulb, not supplied with the wall light, of 60 W maximum. A clear glass filament LED shows off the bubbles in the diffuser. With a dimmable bulb, the brightness can be controlled from a dimmer. The IP44 rating protects against water splashes and rain: a façade, porch or garden wall are all suitable. This Class I model is connected with an earth wire.

Dimensions for an entrance

Allow for a height of 50.8 cm, a width of 19.1 cm and a projection of 18 cm. Weighing 2.9 kg, it needs a solid fixing, preferably on a solid wall. For a single door, fit one wall light on each side, at about 1.60 to 1.80 m above the ground; on a terrace wall, a single one is often enough to mark the exit.
