Masthead Bathroom Wall Light, 1 Light, Polished Chrome and Black

Chrome backplate and clear glass tube

The support consists of a round, highly reflective polished chrome backplate and an arm that holds the tube from below. The clear glass cylinder is surrounded by thin chrome bars; a ribbed black ring tops it off, and another closes the base around the lampholder. The structure is made of steel.

Lighting by the basin

A single E27 lampholder, for a bulb of up to 40 W, bought separately. As nothing hides the bulb, choose a decorative filament bulb in a warm shade of around 2700 K. Dimming works with a dimmable bulb. IP44 rating: it is not affected by splashes, so it can light a washbasin, but not the inside of a shower. Class I, connection with earth wire.

Size and installation

It is 35.1 cm high, projects 12.8 cm and weighs 1.02 kg, a weight that is fine on a solid wall as well as on a well-plugged partition wall. Used alone, it lights a small cloakroom basin; as a pair, it frames a mirror. Allow about 1.60 to 1.80 m between the floor and the middle of the tube.
