A black aluminium lantern crowned with leaves
The black aluminium body forms a trapezoidal lantern, wider at the top than at the bottom. The pointed roof carries an ornament shaped like a crown of leaves, reminiscent of the top of a pineapple. The clear glass panes show the two candle lampholders. The whole fitting is fixed to the wall by a rectangular backplate.
Two E14 candle bulbs behind clear glass
The two E14 lampholders each take a bulb of up to 40 W; bulbs are not included. Flame-shaped or filament LEDs in 2700 K give a yellow light close to that of a candle. The lantern works with a dimmer if the bulbs chosen are dimmable. IP44 rating: it withstands rain and splashes, on a facade or under a porch. Earthed connection (Class I).
Size and installation
At 45.7 cm high and 25.4 cm wide, it projects 30.1 cm from the wall: check that it will not obstruct the opening of a shutter or a door. It weighs 3.8 kg. When placed on either side of an entrance, fix it at about 1.70 to 1.80 m from the ground so that the light falls on the threshold without dazzling.
