Copenhagen black outdoor wall lantern with clear glass and flared roof

304 stainless steel with black powder coating

The manufacturer starts with grade 304 stainless steel, finished in black powder coating, and states a 15-year anti-corrosion guarantee. The shape recalls quayside lanterns: a round wall plate, a horizontal arm, a wide three-tier cap, then a domed glass at the bottom, held by a small metal cage.

Lighting and rain resistance

With an IP44 rating, it withstands showers and splashes, on an exposed wall or under a porch. The E27 lampholder accepts 60 W at most, but a low-power LED is more than enough; no bulb is supplied with the lantern. The clear glass shows the light source: a visible filament bulb looks lovely once night falls.

Dimensions and positioning

The cap is 21.8 cm in diameter, the whole lantern is 23.6 cm high, projecting 26 cm from the wall. Install it between 1.70 m and 1.90 m above the ground, or as a pair on either side of a door. The lantern weighs 1.8 kg. Class I appliance: provide an outdoor junction box and an earth wire.
