304 stainless steel with black powder coating
The Helsingor series is Danish-inspired. This black version starts from 304 stainless steel covered with a powder coating to withstand salty air. The black emphasises the lines of the lantern: a wide roof, two recessed rings, slim bars in front of a clear glass cylinder, a straight arm and a round backplate.
Downward light, limited glare
The rings in the roof hide the bulb and direct the light downwards, lighting the doorstep without dazzling. With its IP44 rating, the lantern withstands rain on a facade. The E27 lampholder accepts a maximum of 60 W; the bulb is not included and, if it is dimmable, a dimmer can adjust its brightness. The manufacturer guarantees the structure for 15 years.
Dimensions and wall mounting
The lantern is 23.6 cm high by 21.8 cm wide, and its 26 cm projection remains reasonable beneath a roof overhang. Allow about 1.70 m between the floor and the bottom of the wall light, and provide a junction box behind the backplate, with earth: the fitting, weighing 1.59 kg, is Class I.
