Bubble glass, bands and curved arm

In the photo, the clear glass cylinder with bubbles is held by two rings and a few vertical bars, like a ship's deck lamp. The whole fitting is made of aluminium, finished in a weathered black with a worn effect. The lantern hangs below a curved arm fixed to a rectangular wall plate, with a round cap at the top and a small decorative point underneath.

An E27 bulb of your choice

It takes a single E27 bulb of up to 60 W, not included. For a welcoming light, choose a warm white filament LED; if you pick a dimmable version, it can be adjusted with a dimmer, which the lantern accepts. The IP44 rating allows it to be used in the rain: an exposed façade, a gate pillar or a wall under a roof overhang.

A 33.7 cm size

It is 17.8 cm wide, projects 23 cm from the wall and weighs 1.45 kg. This size makes it possible to line up several along a terrace or a garage. Beside a standard door, fix it at about 1.70 to 1.80 m above the ground to light the lock and the threshold without causing glare.
