Black powder-coated stainless steel
The same silhouette as the silver version, but in matt black: round backplate, curved gooseneck arm, conical shade 27.5 cm in diameter and a clear glass globe beneath. According to the British retailer, the 304 stainless steel structure is covered with a powder coating, with a limited 15-year anti-corrosion guarantee. Against light render or timber cladding, the black clearly outlines the curve of the arm.
Downward light, IP44
One E27 bulb, 60 W maximum, not included. The light can be used with a dimmer if the bulb is dimmable. The shade directs the light down towards the ground and avoids dazzling neighbours. The IP44 rating withstands rain and splashes: exposed façade, terrace wall or above a garage door. An amber filament LED brings out the transparency of the globe. Class I: earth connection is mandatory.
Dimensions to plan for
It measures 25.5 cm in height and projects 42 cm from the wall, and weighs 1.15 kg. This projection moves the light source away from the wall: check that it does not interfere with a shutter or a gutter. Install it at around 2 m from the ground above a walkway, higher if it overhangs a garage door.
