Scrolled arm and elongated backplate

The arm rises from a vertical backplate with cut corners, curves over and holds the lantern by a ring. The body is made up of a knobbed cap, an angled glazed band and a large domed cage. The aged copper, more matt and browner than polished brass, takes on a shade close to rose bronze.

Two bulbs under clear glass

Two candle-type E14 lampholders, 60 W maximum each, bulbs not included, dimmable if connected to a dimmer. Filament flame LED bulbs reproduce the silhouette of a candle behind the glass. Rated IP44, the lantern stands up to rain outdoors; a roof overhang above it limits limescale deposits on the glass. A limited two-year anti-corrosion warranty is stated.

Projection and mounting height

It projects 25.4 cm from the wall, is 26.4 cm wide and weighs 3.06 kg, earth connection required (Class I): leave sufficient clearance beside a door that opens outwards. Hang the top of the lantern at lintel level, often around 2 m on a large facade, so that it stays in scale with the opening.
