A sunburst of ribs in Aegean gold
The frame makes up most of the piece: three rings of fluting in moulded polyresin, becoming finer towards the outside, recalling sunburst mirrors. The Aegean gold shade, as shown in the photo, is a coppery, aged gold, more bronze than shiny gold, with pronounced relief. The central glass, round and flat, serves mainly as an accent in the middle of the design. The model comes from the Feiss collection, distributed by Elstead.
No bulb, no cable
Although listed among illuminated mirrors, the Cheyenne has no built-in lighting, so there is nothing to plug in. Plan a light source nearby: a wall light above, or a well-placed ceiling light so that the relief of the frame catches the light. It can be used in a bathroom outside wet zones, but its purpose is mainly decorative: hallway, corridor, bedhead.
91.4 cm in diameter and 5.5 kg
At 91.4 cm overall, it spans the width of a console or a single-basin vanity unit. Its 5.5 kg is reasonable, but the wide frame calls for a well-centred hanging point and two fixing points to keep it level.
