Small outdoor ceiling light Urano white 12 cm, GX53 cap

A small white drum

In the photo, the Urano looks like a drum: a turned aluminium cylinder with a white lacquered finish, extended by a transparent ring and a satin acrylic diffuser. With its diameter reduced to 12 cm, it blends discreetly into the ceiling, and it can also be mounted on a wall.

Light and moisture resistance

It works with a GX53 lamp, not supplied, with a stated power per bulb of 15 W; a warm white LED puck uses little energy and gives off little heat in such a small housing. Thanks to its IP44 rating, it withstands splashes and humid air: roof underside, garage entrance, utility room or bathroom, as long as it stays away from the shower jet. Class I, must be earthed.

Where to install it

Its compact size makes it ideal for places where a wider light fitting would be in the way: under a balcony, a side passage, a small porch. Plan on several along a walkway rather than a single larger model. On a wall, fitting it above the frame of a service door lights up the lock and the threshold.
