A cream glass drum banded in bronze

The ceiling light forms a short cylinder: a frosted cream glass wall, held by vertical uprights, between a moulded collar that sits flush to the ceiling and a glass base, closed at the centre by a metal button. The aluminium structure, in a dark brown heritage bronze finish, matches the Merrill wall light and pendant light.

Two bulbs beneath frosted glass

Two E27 lampholders each take a bulb of up to 60 W, not included. The frosted glass hides the light sources and spreads the light downwards and to the sides. Dimmer compatible with dimmable bulbs. The IP44 rating protects the light from water splashes: it withstands damp and wind-driven rain under an open porch or roof overhang.

Low height for low ceilings

At 16.2 cm below the ceiling and 33 cm in diameter, it preserves headroom, which is useful under a low porch or in an outdoor corridor. It weighs 3.06 kg: fix it with plugs suited to your ceiling material. Class I, must be earthed. Under a deep canopy, plan on two.
