Frosted diffuser and galvanised grey finish

The thick, frosted glass covers the plate like a luminous block with rounded edges. You cannot see the bulb, only an even glow. The two horizontal bands echo the finish of the galvanised steel front plate, a matt shade that does not shine in the sun; the back plate is made of cast aluminium.

Soft lighting, IP54 rating

The E27 lampholder takes a 60 W bulb, not included in the box. Behind this opaque glass, a standard frosted-glass LED gives the most even result; if dimmable, it can be adjusted with a dimmer. Thanks to the IP54 rating, splashes and dust stay out: it is suitable for the most exposed façade of the house. Class I fitting, to be connected with an earth conductor.

Weight and positioning

At 3.32 kg with a 12 cm projection, this Bern should be fixed to a solid wall or with suitably sized wall plugs. For an entrance, place it beside the door at shoulder height, so that the frosted glass lights visitors' faces without dazzling them.
