Sandvik outdoor ceiling light, graphite cube, LED GU10, IP65, 14 cm

A graphite cube mounted flush to the ceiling

The rectangular anthracite grey body screws onto a backplate fixed flat to the ceiling, visible at the top of the photo. Below it, a square frame with four screws holds a round glass pane through which the light emerges. The design echoes the Sandvik wall lights, so you can match the ceiling and walls of the same entrance.

Light directed to the ground, IP65

The beam falls vertically and lights up a doorstep, a step or a sheltered patio table. The 8 W GU10 LED bulb is included; it produces 560 lm in 3000 K warm white and is changed like a standard spotlight bulb. The IP65 rating protects against water jets: the ceiling light is also suitable under an open pergola or a carport where rain blows in at an angle.

Dimensions and installation

At 14 cm below the ceiling, it stays discreet even under a low canopy. Class I appliance: the earth must be connected. Under a porch, centre it in front of the door rather than in the middle of the overhang, so that the light falls on the lock and the doorstep.
