Valencia black outdoor half lantern wall light, 44 cm

A Valencia half lantern with a flat back

You will recognise the curved-sided roof and finial of the range, but cut in half: three glazed sides, at the front and on the sides, and a flat back. A small point finishes the underside. The body is die-cast aluminium with a black lacquer finish, and the panes are lightly tinted polycarbonate.

E27 bulb of 60 W maximum

The permitted wattage is lower than on the other Valencia lanterns: 60 W at most. An E27 LED gives off little heat and stays well within this limit. Please buy it separately, as no bulb is supplied in the lampholder. The IP54 rating protects it from dust and splashing water: it suits an exposed wall as well as a covered porch. Class II, double insulation.

Slim projection, flat mounting

At just 24 cm wide and 13 cm deep, it is ideal where an arm-mounted wall light would be in the way: walkway, path along the house, beside a garage door. It weighs 1.87 kg. Fit it at about 1.80 m from the ground, or above the door if the lintel height allows.
