About this light

An outdoor ceiling light in burnished bronze, the flush-mounted Ashland Bay picks up the ribbed glass of the series' nautical lanterns: a bubbled glass cylinder, ringed with raised ribs, held between two metal rings. At 30.5 cm in diameter and 15.2 cm deep, it lights a porch, an open veranda or a low canopy.

Description

A ribbed glass porthole

The diffuser is made of a clear glass cylinder dotted with bubbles and marked with horizontal ribs, plus a glass base. Two wide burnished bronze rings frame it, joined by small vertical rods; a central knob holds the lower pane. Aluminium, brass and glass make up the whole.

Flush-mounted under a porch

Fitted directly against the ceiling, it hangs down only 15.2 cm: a good choice under a low porch or an overhanging roof. The IP44 rating protects it from splashes and outdoor damp, under the shelter of a roof overhang. Weight: 2.43 kg, to be screwed into a solid support. Class I, earth connection required.

Two bulbs under the glass

Two E27 lampholders, 60 W maximum each, bulbs sold separately. If you choose dimmable bulbs, they can be controlled with a dimmer. Warm white filament LEDs keep the ribbed glass effect visible from the ground.
