A small finned spotlight on a U-bracket
The cylindrical body is ribbed with fins at the back, which dissipate the heat from the LED. At the front, the source sits at the bottom of a deep tube: the light emerges as a beam and the bright point stays hidden as you walk past. A U-shaped bracket, tightened by a thumbscrew, connects the head to the spike. Body, bracket and spike are made of black aluminium.

The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or replace. This version, the least powerful in the range, suits a low, close subject rather than a tree or a façade. The technical sheet lists it as variable intensity. Its IP44 rating protects it from rain and splashes from watering. Class III indicates a safety extra-low voltage power supply.
Dimensions and installation
The whole unit measures 30 cm high, 9 cm wide and 15 cm deep, and weighs 0.68 kg. Push the spike into loose soil, a few tens of centimetres from the subject, with the head turned towards it. The cable is only 30 cm long: plan for a power supply line that passes very close by.
