Lucia black round outdoor bulkhead light, 30 cm opal diffuser

Black and white contrast

The black ring, held by four screws, frames a slightly domed opal disc. This disc spreads a soft, even light without revealing the bulb. The light fitting is made of resin and plastic, materials which the retailer describes as resistant to corrosion and temperature variations.

Waterproofing and bulb

IP66 rating: dust cannot get in and a powerful water jet will not damage it. It can therefore be fitted where surfaces are cleaned with a hose, near a garage door, a bike store or a terrace washed down with plenty of water. The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of 23 W maximum, not included: a standard-shape LED is suitable. Class II, double insulation.

Wall light or ceiling light

Like the white bulkhead light in the range, this full-diffuser version can be fixed to the wall or ceiling, according to the retailer. It weighs 0.8 kg and is 9 cm deep. On the ceiling of a porch, centre it above the doorway; as a wall light, allow a height of about 1.80 m.
