Doris garden globe light, grey granite effect, 48 cm diameter

A speckled grey diffuser with a granite look

Up close, the grey surface of the sphere shows a speckled grain in several shades that imitates stone. This finish makes you forget it is plastic, by day and by night. The Doris comes in four sizes; this mid-sized model combines well with a smaller or larger version in the same flower bed.

E27 lampholder and outdoor use

An E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W. Choose an LED bulb with opal glass to avoid too pronounced a bright spot in the centre of the globe. The light is Class II and IP65 rated: sealed against dust, it withstands rain and jets from a sprinkler.

48 cm in diameter, to place or plant

The sphere measures 48 cm in diameter and 48.5 cm in height. The supplied spike steadies it in soil; on hard ground, it simply stands as it is. The plug connects to an outdoor socket: allow for a position close to a protected socket or an extension lead designed for garden use.
