Fiesta Black Outdoor Festoon Light String, 10 E27 Lampholders, 605 cm

Black cable and hanging lampholders

The cable and lampholders are made of black plastic. The ten lampholders hang at regular intervals on a short drop lead. One end has a mains plug, the other a socket. The photo shows the string fitted with opaque white globe bulbs.

E27 bulbs and dimmer

Each lampholder takes a 15 W E27 bulb. Low-power globe LEDs are enough for a festive light that does not dazzle; choose them in 2700 K for a golden glow. The light string works with a dimmer, provided the bulbs are dimmable. With its IP44 rating, it withstands rain: hang it under a pergola, an awning or along a façade.

Length and fixing

With 605 cm of cable weighing 1.53 kg, it spans the length of a family terrace. Allow for regular fixing points, hooks or a tensioning wire, to stop it sagging too much between supports, and an outdoor socket within reach of the plug.
