Genoa outdoor pendant light, lantern on chain with leaded glass

Stained-glass lantern hung from a chain

The square-based lantern carries a tall four-sided roof, from which the suspension chain rises. All four sides are fitted with textured glass divided by diamond-shaped bars, in the manner of stained glass. The black finish, rubbed with silver on the edges, gives the look of aged metal.

Sheltered use only

Rated IP23, it withstands slanting rain but must stay under a roof: porch, deep canopy or covered play area. It takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, to be ordered separately. The textured glass spreads a soft light, both straight down and to the sides. It is Class I and requires an earth conductor.

Fixing and height

At 15 cm wide and 1.2 kg, the lantern puts little strain on its fixing point. In an entrance hall, leave at least 2 m of clearance beneath the bottom of the lantern. The chain length is not specified: check it on delivery before deciding on the final height.
