Description

Opal globe with a black band

The impact-resistant opal polycarbonate ball is held by a band and ribs in black polymer on its upper half. A link chain connects the light to the canopy fixed to the ceiling. Designed to resist corrosion, the whole fitting copes well with damp climates.

Diffused light under a porch

The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W, to be bought separately; if you choose a dimmable bulb, it can be controlled with a dimmer. The opal globe spreads the light all around, towards the floor, the walls and the ceiling of the porch. With its IP44 rating, it can withstand wind-driven rain under an awning or a roof overhang. Class II: double insulation, no earth wire required.

Hanging height

The light alone measures 42 cm. Depending on the length of chain kept, the total height ranges from 53.5 cm to 73 cm, which lets you adjust the position of the globe. It weighs 3.02 kg. Under a porch, leave at least 2 m of clear space beneath the ball.
