A miner's lantern in patinated aluminium
The Miners follows the shape of mining lamps: an ogive-shaped aluminium frame, a clear glass chimney topped with a small cap, two crossed metal wires in front of the glass and a round base. The antique bronze finish reveals coppery highlights. Each lantern is handcrafted, and the manufacturer guarantees its finish against corrosion.
An E27 bulb under cover
The lampholder takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately: a clear filament-style LED shows the glass without dazzling. The lantern can be used with a dimmer, provided you choose a dimmable bulb. The IP44 rating protects against water splashes from all directions; under a canopy, a roof overhang or a covered pergola, the pendant light withstands wind-driven rain. Class I: an earth connection is mandatory.
Chain and hanging height
The lantern is 37 cm high and 20 cm in diameter, and weighs 2.61 kg. With the chain, the total length is adjustable from 45.5 to 156 cm. Under a porch, keep at least 2 m of clear headroom below the base of the lantern.
