Somerton outdoor pendant light in aged brass, 24 cm barn light

Solid brass finished with beeswax

The retailer describes it as handmade in solid brass, then waxed with beeswax. This finish lets the metal evolve: the aged brass tone develops a more pronounced patina over the years outdoors. The dome and its rolled rim shelter a clear glass bell that shows off the bulb.

A light you can dim

The rim of the shade hides the light source from view and directs the light downwards. E27 lampholder, 100 W maximum, bulb not included. The light works with a dimmer, provided you use a dimmable bulb. IP44 protection: rain and damp will not damage it as long as it hangs under shelter. Class I with earth.

A 1.73 kg lantern with adjustable height

Body of 25.5 cm, total height from 33 to 95 cm depending on the length of chain kept, weight 1.73 kg. Above a garden table under a canopy, leave about 70 cm between the bottom of the glass and the tabletop; in a walkway, keep 2 m clear below the light.
