About this light

A nautically inspired lantern in a weathered zinc finish, hanging from a long chain: the total height extends to 230.6 cm, enough to hang it beneath a high porch ceiling. The clear, bubbled and ribbed glass cylinder is framed by slim uprights and topped with a cap with a handle.

Description

Cylindrical lantern with handle

The lantern consists of a base disc, small vertical tubes and a chimney-style cap, whose handle serves as the attachment point for the chain. The ribbed glass multiplies the reflections around the bulb. The aluminium has an aged zinc finish, grey with bluish tones.

Lighting

E27 lampholder, 60 W maximum, suitable for use with an LED bulb; bulb not included. Dimming is possible with a dimmer, using a compatible LED bulb. Its IP44 rating allows outdoor use, sheltered by an awning or roof overhang. Class I.

Adjustable height

The lantern alone measures 32.7 cm in height, 15.4 cm in diameter and weighs 1.8 kg. The chain can be shortened for a total height of between 43.2 cm and 230.6 cm. For a porch, leave at least 2 m of clearance beneath the lantern.
