Porch lantern hung from its chain

The sienna-patinated brass forms a lantern with a square base, closed by clear glass panes scattered with bubbles. A horizontal crossbar encircles the panes; the pyramid roof carries a chimney and a ring from which the chain runs, ending at the ceiling in a round ceiling rose. The silhouette recalls the gas lamps of old streets.

Light and the shelter it needs

Three E14 lampholders take bulbs of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. The pendant light is compatible with a dimmer, provided you choose dimmable bulbs. Its IP23 rating protects it only from drops of rain, even at an angle: install it under cover, such as a covered porch or a roof overhang, never in the open air.

Adjustable height and fixing

The overall height adjusts from 69 to 221.5 cm, so it suits a low porch as well as a double-height entrance. Leave at least 2.10 m of clearance beneath the lantern. Weighing 5 kg and 20.3 cm wide, it needs a solid fixing point in the roof structure or the slab.
