Square lantern at the end of a chain

A chain with oval links connects the square ceiling plate to the ring of the lantern. Below this attachment point, a flat roof overhangs curved brackets, followed by four clear glass panes held by slim uprights and a square base. The cast aluminium is finished in oil-rubbed bronze, a hand-painted dark brown.

Height and position under the porch

The lantern measures 30.5 cm high by 18.4 cm in diameter; with the chain, the total height varies from 35.5 to 134 cm. Under a porch ceiling, leave at least 2 m of clear passage below the base of the lantern. Its weight of 2.34 kg requires a solid anchor point in the roof frame or the slab.

Bulb and IP23 protection

E27 lampholder for a bulb of up to 60 W, not supplied with the light; it can be connected to a dimmer provided the bulb is dimmable. The clear glass shows the light source: a filament LED suits it well. IP23 protects it from rain falling at an angle, provided it stays under a roof. Class I.
