Compact ship's lantern in bronze metal and clear glass
It features the details of the series: a cage of metal wires encircled by rings, a cylindrical bubbled glass, a flared top and a hanging ring. The photo shows a round ceiling rose, from which hangs a chain with elongated links, in the same dark bronze as the body. At 38 cm high, the lantern keeps discreet proportions beneath an overhanging roof.
Sheltered lighting, E27 bulb to be chosen
A single E27 lampholder, rated for a maximum of 60 W; the bulb is not included. A warm white LED with visible filament pairs well with the clear glass. The brightness can be varied if you install a dimmer and a compatible bulb. Rated IP23, it tolerates slanting rain but not direct spray: install it under a porch or a roof overhang.
From 45 to 289 cm in height, 3.5 kg
Depending on the length of chain kept, the whole fitting measures from 45 to 289 cm. This small size suits a row of two or three lanterns above a covered path. Its 3.5 kg is modest but requires a fixing plug suited to the ceiling. Class I appliance, to be connected to the earth wire.
