About this light

Station outdoor pendant light in rust brown steel: a flared shade tops a clear glass globe, in the style of old railway station or harbour lanterns. It hangs from a chain beneath a porch, canopy or covered pergola. The E27 lampholder takes a bulb, sold separately.

Description

Retro lantern in patinated steel

This light echoes the silhouette of old platform lamps: a small openwork lantern top, a wide steel shade that directs the light downwards, and a clear glass globe beneath. The rusty brown finish imitates an aged patina and sits well with stone, brick or raw wood. The clear globe shows off the bulb: a filament LED suits the style.

E27 lampholder and IP44 protection

The lantern takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, not included. The lighting is fixed-intensity. The IP44 rating protects it against splashes and wind-driven rain: use it only in a covered space, such as a porch, covered walkway or terrace under a roof.

Chain and ceiling height

The lantern alone measures 30 cm high by 21.5 cm wide. The height is adjustable via the chain, up to 90 cm in total: shorten it under a low ceiling to keep at least 2 m of clearance below the globe, or leave it longer under a high canopy.
