Beacon Square outdoor pendant lantern in antique bronze, textured glass

Antique bronze and glazing bars

The bronze finish of the composite, a very dark brown, emphasises the design of the frame: corner uprights, horizontal bands and a four-sided roof with a generous overhang. Behind it, the textured glass hints at the lampholder without openly revealing it. The suspension chain and the ceiling plate use the same dark colour.

Which bulb and where to place it

The lantern takes an E27 bulb of 60 W maximum; none is supplied. Choose a warm white LED, which gives off little heat in this enclosed space, and a dimmable one if you control it with a dimmer. The IP44 rating protects it from splashes and rain: sheltered façade, covered entrance, covered terrace. Class I luminaire, to be connected to an earth wire.

Hanging and dimensions

Allow a total height of 37.7 cm at the shortest and 133.6 cm with the chain fully extended. Under a porch, keep the bottom of the lantern above the top of the door so it does not get in the way. At 1.99 kg, it needs a screw fixing into a load-bearing support.
