Klampenborg outdoor pendant light in black stainless steel, clear glass globe

Powder-coated 304 stainless steel and clear globe

The manufacturer uses grade 304 stainless steel, covered with a black powder coating to last outdoors. The wide, shallow shade directs the light towards the ground. The clear glass globe, rounded at the bottom, lets the bulb show through. The manufacturer states a limited anti-corrosion guarantee, and a gooseneck wall light exists in the same range.

Bulb and protection rating

An E27 bulb of up to 60 W screws into the lampholder; it is not included. The light can be used with a dimmer, provided you choose a dimmable bulb. Thanks to its IP44 rating, the pendant light withstands rain: façade, canopy, garage entrance. The light is Class I, and must be connected to earth.

A compact lantern by the door

The body of the light is only 26 cm high and weighs 1.35 kg, which makes it easy to fit under a fairly low porch ceiling. With the chain, the total height ranges from 36 to 97.5 cm. Place it in line with the door, slightly forward, to light both the lock and the threshold.
