Lofoten Black Rectangular Outdoor Pendant Lantern with Glass Panels

Slim steel frame, safety glass

The frame is made of electro-galvanised steel with a black powder-coated finish, two treatments that protect the metal from rust. The panels are made of clear safety glass. No ornament: a clean rectangular box, a visible black lampholder and a chain with oval links.

Choosing the bulb

The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W, not supplied. As the bulb is visible from every angle, a tubular or globe filament LED in 2700 K, dimmable if you add a dimmer, shows the lantern off to best effect. IP44 rating: it withstands rain and splashes, under an eave or on a façade. Class II, so there is no earth wire to connect.

Overall height and placement

Including the chain, the overall height of the Lofoten ranges from 43.5 to 93 cm, and it weighs 3.8 kg. Hang it in the centre of a porch, or line up two or three above a summer kitchen counter to light the worktop.
