Solid polished brass and bevelled glass

The body is made of solid brass, polished to a high shine. The slightly domed bevelled glass panes create a silhouette that is full at the shoulders and narrows towards the base. At the top, a small glazed lantern top and a round ring connect it to the gold-coloured chain. A soft, dry cloth is all you need for everyday care of the metal.

IP23: a lantern for covered outdoor spaces

The IP23 rating protects against rain falling at an angle, not against splashes from every direction: hang it under a porch that is closed over the top, a veranda or a deep canopy, never in open wind. It takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, not included in the box. If connected to a dimmer, it needs a dimmable bulb. Class I: connect the earth wire.

Adjusting the chain

The overall height ranges from 41 to 157 cm. Under a porch of standard height, leave the chain short enough for the lantern to stay above the top of the door. It weighs 2.34 kg, so fixing it to the slab or a beam is suitable.
