About this light

Inspired by the lamps of the Norwegian fjords, the Oslo outdoor pendant light is made of raw hot-dip galvanised steel with a silvery appearance. A wide disc and two tiered rings surround a transparent diffuser topped with a dome. It measures 27 cm in diameter and hangs from a chain under a canopy, a covered porch or a roof overhang.

Description

Hot-dip galvanising, natural finish

The steel is galvanised by hot dipping: the zinc layer protects the metal and gives it its silvery appearance. The polycarbonate diffuser, rounded at the bottom, is topped with a metal dome. Three circular slats encircle it, a large disc followed by two smaller rings, giving the light its tiered silhouette.

IP55, double insulation, E27 cap

Protected against dust and water jets (IP55), the Oslo can be left exposed to the weather, on a façade or under an open shelter. Use an E27 bulb of 60 W maximum, not included. A dimmer can control it, provided the bulb is dimmable. It is Class II: no earth conductor to connect.

Weight and suspension

Allow for 2.7 kg and a total height of 43.5 to 102 cm, chain included, for a 25 cm fitting. The raw metal suits cladding, a garage door or a workshop; hang it above the opening to light the entrance.
