About this light

The large model of the Ravine, this outdoor pendant lantern stands 51.4 cm high and 25.4 cm in diameter. It keeps the western bronze frame and the bevelled glass panes right up to the roof, at a scale suited to tall façades, double-height porches and the entrances of multi-storey homes. It hangs from a matching chain.

Description

The large size of the Ravine

Taller and wider than the medium model, this lantern remains clearly visible from a distance, from the gate or the street. The design itself is unchanged: four faces of clear bevelled glass flare out towards a glazed roof, held by a dark brown tinted steel frame. The ring at the top takes the chain.

Light source and outdoor use

A single E27 lampholder, 60 W maximum, with no bulb in the box. A large globe bulb or an Edison filament LED fills this glazed volume better. The lantern can be dimmed, provided you choose a compatible bulb. With its IP44 rating, the lantern withstands rain on a façade or under a roof overhang. Class I: be sure to connect the earth wire.

A chain for great heights

From 60.5 cm at the shortest to 308 cm with the chain fully extended, the total height adapts to the highest porch ceilings. At 5.36 kg, it must be fixed to a load-bearing structure, such as a beam or slab, using wall plugs suited to the load.
