About this light

An outdoor pendant lantern with a nautical look, the Riverwood pairs a round, flat-rimmed top with a bubbled glass cylinder rounded at the base. Its weathered zinc finish, a dark grey with worn highlights, recalls metal long exposed to sea spray. It measures 20.3 cm in diameter and 30.1 cm in height and hangs from a chain, beneath a porch or pergola.

Description

Weathered aluminium and bubbled glass

The body is made of aluminium in a weathered zinc finish that recreates the look of metal aged by the elements. The wide, flat top is connected to the glass cylinder by a stepped neck. The glass is dotted with tiny bubbles reminiscent of old boat lamps. The round ceiling hook cover and the chain share the same finish.

E27 bulb and rain

The lampholder accepts an E27 bulb up to 60 W, not included; paired with a dimmable LED bulb, the lantern can be controlled with a dimmer. An IP44 rating is enough to leave it outdoors all year round under an overhang or against a façade lashed by rain. Class I, earth connection required.

Installation under a porch or pergola

The length of the chain can be adjusted to the ceiling height. At 2.12 kg, the lantern is easy to fix to a pergola beam. To light a table on a covered terrace, plan on two lanterns spaced apart rather than a single one, placed above the ends of the table top.
