Seen from the front, the cage resembles a kite: straight uprights at the top, then inward curves that converge towards a point. The two perpendicular frames keep the inside open. The retailer Netlighting states that the joints are hand-welded. The chain and ceiling rose share the same chrome finish.

Bare E27 light source, dimmable

The single lampholder takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. A filament LED with a generous globe will fill this large cage better than a standard bulb. With a compatible bulb, the pendant light can be used with a dimmer.

Weight, height and space to allow for

At 6.75 kg, it requires a solid fixing point, a hook or a plate screwed into a joist or slab. Its total height ranges from 90.8 to 247.4 cm: enough to let it hang down in a double-height space or keep it high in an entrance hall. Above a table, choose a tabletop of about 80 to 100 cm wide and keep around 70 cm between the point and the table. With an IP20 rating, it stays indoors, away from moisture.
