Bayview black outdoor lantern pendant light on chain, 18 cm

A black lantern at the end of a chain

A round ceiling rose fixes to the ceiling; a chain with black links runs down to the ring that crowns the lantern. The lantern follows the design of the range: a rounded, moulded top, four panes of clear bevelled glass and slim black aluminium uprights. The body of the lantern is 33.6 cm high; the whole fitting weighs 2.21 kg.

Adjustable height from 42.8 to 141.2 cm

From the ceiling rose to the bottom of the lantern, the overall height ranges from 42.8 cm to 141.2 cm depending on the chain setting. Under a low canopy, keep the chain short; in a high porch, let it hang lower while keeping at least 2 m of clearance beneath the lantern. Above a covered terrace table, aim for 65 to 75 cm between the tabletop and the bottom of the light.

An E27 lampholder protected from the weather

It takes an E27 bulb of 60 W maximum, not included; the clear glass shows off a filament LED. Connected to a dimmer, the lantern can be dimmed as long as the bulb is dimmable. With its IP44 rating, it withstands wind-driven rain under an open porch or a roof overhang. Class I: earth connection required.
