Chicago outdoor pendant light, black tulip lantern on chain

Tulip lantern in textured black aluminium

The same design as the Chicago wall lights, but suspended: scalloped cap, clear bubble glass that curves into a tulip shape, and a moulded base ending in a finial. The link chain and ceiling rose share the same black finish.

One E27 bulb, 60 W maximum

A bulb must be added: the E27 lampholder accepts up to 60 W. A clear Edison-style LED, clearly visible beneath the glass, enhances the look of an old-fashioned lantern. The lantern also works with a dimmer, using a dimmable LED bulb. The IP44 rating protects it from splashes and rain, under an open porch as well as under a covered pergola.

51 to 151 cm high, 23.5 cm in diameter

Under a standard porch ceiling, shorten the chain to leave at least 2 m of clearance. Above a garden table, leave 65 to 75 cm between the bottom of the lantern and the tabletop. Fix the ceiling rose to a solid support, as the whole fitting weighs 2.66 kg; Class I, must be connected to an earth.
