About this light

A scaled-down version of the Chapel, this small outdoor lantern pendant light measures 17 cm in diameter and 34.5 cm in height. It has the same four-sided roof and the same clear glass panes as the larger model, in a size suited to narrow porches, door canopies or a row of lanterns along a sheltered walkway.

Description

The Chapel design in a smaller size

Black cast aluminium, an overhanging pyramid roof and four glazed sides in clear glass: the silhouette remains that of a traditional façade lantern. The moulded finial beneath the cage and the chunky-link chain complete the design. Its smaller size has less visual weight above a front door.

An E27 bulb of your choice

A single E27 lampholder, rated for a maximum of 60 W. The bulb is sold separately; a pear-shaped or globe LED filament bulb looks great behind the clear glass. With a dimmable bulb, the pendant light can be used with a dimmer. The IP44 rating protects it from showers: hang it under a roof or overhang, away from direct run-off.

Dimensions and installation

Chain included, the height is adjustable from 49.5 to 96.5 cm. It weighs just 1.6 kg. The wiring must include the earth wire, as for any Class I fitting. Under a low canopy, keep the chain short so it does not obstruct the way through.
