Goldenrod Bronze Outdoor Lantern Pendant Light on Chain, 41.3 cm

A bronze lantern hanging from its chain

The lantern is suspended by the ring on its top cap from a bronze chain, which meets a small ceiling rose. The rectangular body combines a dark steel frame, clear bevelled glass panes and several gold rods on each side. The base and the top cap project slightly beyond the frame.

Light for a covered entrance

An E27 lampholder accepts a bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. An elongated filament bulb in warm white remains visible behind the glass and gives a welcoming light. The pendant light works with a dimmer, if the bulb allows it. The IP44 rating protects it from rain: it withstands the damp air of an open porch or a covered terrace.

Size and height

The body measures 41.3 cm high; with its chain, the whole fitting hangs from 51.3 cm to 298.8 cm below the ceiling. Under a porch, keep at least 2 m of clear headroom beneath the lantern. At 5.09 kg, it must be hung from a solid fixing point. As with the wall lights, the gold rods can be removed, according to the manufacturer.
