Ceci Round Black Outdoor Recessed Ground Spotlight 15.5 cm GX53

Flush black trim

The large round Ceci is essentially a very flat black ring, made of resin and plastic, that surrounds a frosted round diffuser. Once installed, only this ring sits barely above the ground: you can walk over it without catching your foot. The black blends into dark paving, wooden decking or grey gravel.

A GX53 lamp facing the sky

The spotlight takes a flat lamp with a GX53 cap, up to 10 W, which shines vertically: the base of a tree, a facade, a hedge or a flower bed. The IP67 rating allows temporary immersion: a puddle after a downpour or heavy watering will not damage it, which is why it can be recessed into the ground. The retailer also states resistance to corrosion, impact and very heavy loads.

Installing it in the ground

The body goes down 11 cm: dig a little deeper and provide a bed of gravel under the spotlight to drain away water. It weighs 0.67 kg. Being Class II, it is connected without an earth. To highlight a tree, place it a few tens of centimetres from the trunk, on the side from which it will be viewed.
