About this light

This black garden spike spotlight sets its small cylindrical head at the top of a 58 cm stem: the light shines out above perennials and grasses instead of getting lost in the foliage. Description

A spotlight head on a long black stem

The light consists of a black aluminium tube, ending at the bottom in a spike to push into the soil and at the top in a small cylindrical spotlight held by a bracket. The black cable comes out near the base of the stem. The whole unit weighs 1.3 kg, which makes it stable once planted.

A 6 W LED at 24 V for the border

The light source is an integrated 6 W LED, supplied with the spotlight. It runs on 24 V, Class 3, and connects to a low-voltage transformer from the Garden24 system. Rated IP44, the spotlight withstands rain and watering: it can stay outdoors in a flower bed.

Planting the spike and connecting the cable

At 58 cm high with a head 9 cm in diameter, the spotlight rises above most ground cover. Plant it a step away from the plant to be lit, aiming at the foliage. The 30 cm cable is short: it connects to an extension cable or a main cable laid on the ground or buried shallowly.
