This garden spotlight kit with transformer has everything you need to start a 24 V Garden24 installation. It comprises two black aluminium spike spotlights, an extension cable and a transformer that plugs into a socket. Each spotlight has an integrated 3 W LED. A good starting point for lighting a flower bed or a shrub, which you can then extend with other luminaires from the range.

Description

Kit contents

The kit contains two spotlights, together with a black transformer with cable and mains plug and a black extension cable ending in connectors. Each spotlight has a cylindrical black aluminium head, held by a bracket above a spike for planting in the ground. The complete kit weighs 2.5 kg.

3 W LED at extra-low voltage

The spotlights are fitted with an integrated 3 W LED. The transformer steps the mains voltage down to 24 V: on the garden side, only Class 3 cables are used. The kit is rated IP44, for use in the rain.

Installation

Plug the transformer into a sheltered socket, unroll the extension cable as far as the flower bed, then push the spotlights into the ground a few steps from the plants you want to light. Run the cable under the mulch or in a small trench so that no one trips over it.
