About this light

This square plaster recessed spotlight, designed for a GU10 cap, hides the bulb at the bottom of a round opening sunk into the plaster. Samba thus limits glare: you see the light on the floor more than the source. It can be plastered in and painted with the ceiling, in a living room, bedroom or study. Bulb sold separately.

Description

Square block, hidden light

The body is a white plaster cube with two mesh wings for the filler. Unlike the flat Samba models, the bulb sits far back, at the bottom of a round well. This recess hides the source when looking at the ceiling from an angle. The plaster can be painted, so the spotlight blends into the surface.

Soft, directed light

The cap is a GU10, for a bulb of 35 W maximum, which is not in the box. Thanks to the well, even a powerful LED causes little glare: a good option above a sofa or a bed. Rated IP20, the spotlight is for dry rooms only. Class II.

Dimensions

The block measures 7.8 cm square and weighs 0.36 kg. The bulb housed at the bottom of the well requires a false ceiling with sufficient void above the board. It is integrated into the plaster finish at the taping and jointing stage.
