About this light

This gold recessed spotlight, 12 cm in diameter, dresses a classic-style ceiling: its round trim, in a 24-carat gold finish, is carved with radiating flutes and edged with a row of beads. At the centre, a ring with a small knob surrounds the lamp. It takes a GU10 bulb and serves as accent lighting in a living room, hallway or library.

Description

Fluted trim gilded in 24-carat gold

Seen from below, the piece resembles a ceiling rose: fine grooves radiate from the centre to a beaded edge. The 24-carat gold finish gives a rich yellow glint that complements mouldings, gilded mirrors and wood panelling. In the photo, the central ring is tilted and fitted with a small grip knob. Made in the European Union.

A GU10 lamp pointing downwards

The spotlight takes a 50 W GU10 bulb, to be purchased separately. Variable intensity is provided for: pair it with a dimmer and choose a dimmable GU10 LED, in 2700 K for a soft white against the gold. IP20 rating: for dry rooms only, or in a bathroom away from the shower and bath.

Recessing and dimensions

The body measures 9 cm in height and 12 cm in diameter: check the clearance above the false ceiling before drilling. Class II: double insulation, no earth to connect. For a hallway, line up several spotlights at regular intervals along the centre of the passage.
