About this light

Round gold recessed spotlight, 10 cm across. Here the Milord is reduced to a domed collar covered in tight fluting and finished in 24-carat gold. The GU10 lamp sits in the centre, in a fixed ring. It provides pinpoint light over a worktop, a passageway or a niche, and is easy to repeat across a single ceiling.

Description

A raised golden crown

The collar curves slightly outwards and ends in a fine beaded edge. The flutes, wide at the outer edge and tighter towards the lamp, create a play of shadows even when the spotlight is off. Unlike the large round model in the range, the central ring here stays on the axis, with no knob. The 24-carat gold finish covers the whole visible face; made in the European Union.

GU10 accent lighting

Allow for one 50 W GU10 bulb, sold separately. Thanks to its variable intensity, this spotlight can be used on a circuit with a dimmer, provided you choose a dimmable lamp. Its IP20 rating makes it suitable for rooms without moisture: living room, bedroom, hallway, or a bathroom away from water zones.

Fitting in a shallow ceiling

Its 5 cm height and 0.4 kg weight make it easy to fit into a plasterboard ceiling. Double insulation (Class II) means no earth connection is needed. Above a niche or a bookcase, one spotlight per storage module is enough to highlight the volumes.
