About this light

This 24-carat gold recessed spotlight, 12 cm in diameter, dresses the ceiling with a round trim chased with a raised palmette frieze. At the centre, the cup that holds the GU10 bulb is encircled by a fine beaded edge. It suits a living room, dining room or an entrance with character, where a plain white spotlight would look too neutral next to mouldings and gilding.

Description

A gilded trim worked like a moulding

The wide, flat trim is fully sculpted: a crown of stylised leaves alternates with small heart motifs, and the 24-carat gold finish catches the light on every relief. The inner cup appears tilted in the photo, fitted with a small stem ending in a ball. Made in the European Union.

GU10 up to 50 W, dimming possible

The spotlight accepts a GU10 bulb of 50 W maximum, to be purchased separately. The technical sheet lists it as dimmable: pair it with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a suitable dimmer. For a golden light that flatters the finish, choose a 2700 K LED. IP20 rating: for dry rooms only.

Dimensions and installation

Allow for 12 cm of visible diameter on the ceiling and a stated height of between 7 and 9 cm: check the space available above the ceiling before drilling. Class II, it does not require an earth connection. It weighs 0.5 kg.
