Crystal on a chrome mount

The round plate and the lower ring are chrome-plated and polished to an almost mirror finish. Between them, rows of crystal beads curve outwards like the ribs of a melon, revealing the bulb at the centre. The chrome picks up the reflections of the crystal instead of warming them.

Clear G9 bulb recommended

Maximum lampholder power: 40 W, for a G9 bulb that is not included. Choose a clear G9: the point source makes the beads sparkle, whereas an opal bulb gives a more diffuse halo. A neutral white goes well with the chrome. With its IP20 rating, this spotlight is suitable only for rooms without moisture.

Installation

It hangs 15 cm below the ceiling with a diameter of 17 cm, and weighs 1.1 kg. Class I appliance: connect the earth wire. In the middle of a small hallway, two or three units evenly spaced give better light than a single one.
