Mirror chrome and faceted crystal

Here, the mounting disc comes in a very shiny polished chrome, which reflects light as much as the crystal does. The beads, strung into little chains, form an inverted cone whose rounded tip drops below the ceiling rose. The cool metal gives the crystal a whiter look than the gold version.

Light: 40 W G9 cap

The bulb is not supplied. The G9 lampholder is rated for 40 W; an LED capsule with the same cap is more than enough for an accent point and limits heat build-up. Choose 3000 K if you want a crisp white that suits the chrome. The IP20 rating restricts this spotlight to rooms protected from moisture. Class I luminaire, to be connected to earth.

Size and weight

11 cm in diameter for 1 kg: fixing it to a plasterboard ceiling requires suitable plugs. In a hallway, centre it above the door or in the middle of the passage.
