Basic white round LED recessed spotlight IP44 Ø14.4 cm

White trim and faceted reflector

Only the white aluminium ring remains visible, flush with the ceiling. At the centre, a bowl-shaped reflector, cut into small facets, sends the LED's light downwards and reduces glare when you look up.

A 20 W LED protected against splashes

The 20 W LED source is supplied and delivers 1950 lm at 3000 K, a warm white. Rated IP44, the spotlight withstands humidity and splashes from a washbasin or sink: in a bathroom, keep it away from the shower cubicle. The British retailer supplies it with an on/off driver, so it is not designed for use with a dimmer as it stands. Class II indicates double insulation, with no earth connection.

Recessing and positioning

The body is 7.1 cm high: check that the void above the false ceiling allows for this. The cut-out diameter is not stated, so check it in the instructions before cutting the board. In a hallway, a line of spotlights along the central axis gives an even light; in a kitchen, place them above the worktop rather than in the centre of the room.
